Special Events
In addition to our regularly scheduled worship services, St. James Chapel hosts more than twenty-five special events of a religious nature throughout the year. With comfortable seating for over a hundred people, the Chapel provides an excellent venue for weddings, renewal of vows, memorial services, funerals, and baptisms. The Chapel is available to property owners and staff members of St. James Plantation, and extends to immediate family - including children, grandchildren, parents, and siblings.
While there is a modest usage fee for weddings, there is no cost for baptisms, memorial services, or funerals.
It should be noted that many of our ministers are available to officiate at these ceremonies, and if you do decide to engage them for your event, their costs would be in addition to the Chapel usage fee.
